22+ years of professional hands-on experience covering mostly fashion, e-commerce, retail, sourcing, buying, merchandising, sales (B2B, B2C), digital marketing, fast growth start-ups, international expansions, CRM, supply-chain, logistics, IT, and HR.

 

Prior to my current role as the Fashion Commercial Director (Chief Fashion Officer) at Elefant.ro, I worked as the Chief Operating Officer at LesBenjamins.com, premium streetwear brand located in Istanbul with more than 300 sales points worldwide, between 2014-2017.

 

Between 2010-2013, I served as the Chief Sourcing Officer for MarkaVIP.com and Country Managing Director of their Turkey operations, where I helped grow the flash-sales e-commerce giant from startup to an internationally recognized brand with 8-digit $ in revenues and operations in UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, KSA, Jordan, and Lebanon.

 

Previously, I founded Texfolio Global Sourcing, and catered the European and American fashion retailers and brands as their apparel sourcing and supply-chain solution provider between 2005-2010.

 

Between 1995-2005, I worked at the leading American sourcing offices, vertically integrated textile mills and garment factories where I acquired my fashion sourcing, merchandising, sales and marketing skills.

 

I received my M.B.A. from the University of Bridgeport (Connecticut, USA) and my BA in Economics from the Bogazici University (Istanbul, Turkey).
